Don’t you just lurve tossing potatoes about in a freshly ploughed field? – I do! This mornings walk was full of action like that, and naturally the dirt stuck well and truly all the way up my legs and right up to my chest. It’s a good job I ‘found’ the bird watcher at the beginning of the walk (or else Elke would have had to apologize…again!).
Anyway, just before going back to the car we have to pass over (or through!) a little overflow stream which has stepping stones in it. Elke took the stepping stones and I walked right in there … and laid down in it. She was sooo happy! ‘Automagic self-cleaning superdale’ she called me! Yes Ma’am, just doing my job! We forgot to take the camera though.
Later on after drying off properly we had a cuddle on the new bench. I stayed cuddling for 2 whole minutes – This is the Dale whose humans were contemplating buying chain mail gloves when he was a puppy!

So there I was cuddling, with my head on her lap and everything! – not even nibbling a bit! Mind you I think she deserves it. She worried a lot when I was poorly and kept going on the computer and in her books until she found an answer (She is a bit like a terrier herself when it comes to things like that.).
The outcome of it all is that the food I’m getting is now all human grade – no more pet food at all. This means we’re baking! And I lurve baking, especially pastry … because it has lard in it, and I lurve lard… and cheese!!!

These are some home made treats for when we are on walks – cheese biscuits, with lard and … cheese.

They are so good! Definitely …
