This mornings walk was a bit short and wet. We’ve had quite a bit of rain so this afternoon we decided to check out if the river was overflowing again. I walked beautifully to heel all the way through the village and on the way to the river we met the calves.
I said ‘Hi’ and tried to get them to play with me but they weren’t interested. They made some funny noises!!!
When we came to the bridge we had a good look how much higher the river was since yesterday. A fair bit! Will we get through the fields?
Yes! We made it!
Checking rivers is thirsty work.
For humans too.

Finni, you will have to tell me your trick of appproaching cows and then touching noses!! Amazing stuff that. When I go near cows they run away, perhaps it would help if I didn’t bark at them? hmmm.

Gosh, I do hope there aren’t any more floods. Maybe you should drink lots of water from the river to keep the levels down.
