She won’t let me into my basket! … all day long! … she hogs it! … only comes out to go for a walk, have dinner or go into the garden!… and she keeps growling at me when I go near her! Dad says it’s a girl thing!

I just want to have a little look at it … the chewie … but all she does is squeal …  and growl! It’s not fair!

She doesn’t even want to play with me 🙁 so I’ll just have to entertain myself … with favourite elk 🙂 ! Yeeaaah! …

I hope she cheers up soon. It’s not so much fun without her.

{Nelly is going through the last bit of  a phantom pregnancy at the moment. She has decided that Finni’s basket is the nicest place to ‘nurse’ her pretend babies – a crunched up blanket – and hardly leaves it. She is very hormonal!}

OK, this morning we had to go through the list with MUM:

Keys – check

Snackies – check (Frankfurter sausage taste test – check!)

Kettle back on its base (instead of in the fridge) – check

COLLARS ON! – check

Because yesterday morning we drove all the way to the Lakes, Mum opened the travel cage ready to hook me on when she stopped dumbstruck …  no collars on either of us! DUH! She mumbled something unprintable, closed the cage again and drove all the way home again. Well, we complained all the way back home of course with Mum saying ‘Oooops, forgot, Sorry!’ every once in a while. And being woken up at 4:00, 5:00 and 7:00am by howling and barking to be let out (the only way to stop the racket!) is NO excuse either. After all – we’re on duty 24/7!

The other morning Nelly persuaded Mum to let her have that shrivelled up Nectarine she was going to throw away, and being a true girl she immediately began to multi task.

You can see I wanted to join in the fun and tried to persuade her to let me have a taste of that nectarine … but no! She insisted on having it all herself and rearranged our baskets while she was at it.

She has had a flair for interior design from an early age and I have to admit I kinda like what she has done with the place … cozy!
