A. T.s biggest fan

Well, we found out something the other night. My folks were watching TV and a chap called Alan Titchmarsh was presenting a wildlife program on which he enlisted the help of a pointer called Quince to help him find some tiny little bird on the ground. So he called him “Quince, come here boy!” Elke said I flew to the TV screen at that point, licked it and remained very attentive. So it appears I’m Alan Titchmarsh’s biggest fan! (I could have found that bird! … eventually)

I’m also a really big fan of nuts, the ones in shells which you can only get at Christmas. They are lip smacking good! The bigger ones are easy to crack but little Hazelnuts are a bit tricky. You have to put your head sideways on the floor to get a good hold of them. Mmmmh … delicious!

We’ve been having quite a few early morning walks lately. It’s been too dark to get good shots of most things (especially moving Airedale in bad light), but we’ve got some nice ones of this!

I’d like to thank everyone for their suggestions regarding my little problem with Elk. Alas, the ball is still in there, but I will set some time aside to do a proper removal. Elk may also lose his eyes, and perhaps a bit of stuffing at the same time.
Other than that we’re keeping our paws and fingers crossed that Jaffa will be ok.

    Hi Finni

You certainly have been busy watching TV, going walking and cracking Christmas nuts. We have not had the opportunity to try this so will be showing our hooman this post and hopefully we will be able try some nuts this Christmas.
We love your photos of the sunrising.

    Finni,
We love your nut cracking technique. Just be careful you don’t crack a tooth lol. We’ve never seen a dog eat nuts in the shell before.
We’ve got our paws crossed for Jaffa too.
