The Zen of Obedience

This mornings walk was really interesting. We met an almost fully grown pup named Oscar. He really wanted to play and danced around me instead of going with his hoomans. They in turn tried a lot of different permutations of “COME” to get him to come with them. My personal favourite was “Come on then you daft bugger!”. This seemed to work.

I didn’t play with him because I’m 21 months old now and have more serious things on my mind like food, chasing pheasant and girls.

The other highlight of today was the lasagna dish this evening. I was given this by way of Occupational Therapy to keep me from getting annoyed about fireworks.

Trouble was it kept sliding all over the place so you really have to put your paw on it to keep it in one place.

Lovely stuff though; we can thoroughly recommend burnt on Lasagna on Firework Nights!

    Hiya Finni,
Don’t you just love being given the responsibility of cleaning the bowl. I do. The only problem here is I have to share with my sissies………sigh.
Hope you didn’t get too freaked out by the fireworks. We had storms last night and Tess was a bit worried. She kept snuggling into Bryan for protection.

    Finni.

Thanks for this posting. It has helped us enormously in our quest for hooman food. We are going to show the photographs of you munching your way through the Lasagne to our hoomans and hopefully this will finally open their eyes to our need for home made goodies.

We loved your food receptacle, very posh.

  3. Excellent. Ma and pa are having lasagne tonight, and as I am very scared of the fireworks I am showing them your posting and expect cheesy, beefy gloriousness to be heading my way later on. Thanks Finni, you’re a real pal.

Gosh Finni what a lucky guy you are! We are hoping that showing our hoomans you cleaning the lasagne dish we might get lucky. Hmmm we doubt it! LOL
