Exploring new walks

Mum and I have been looking for new walks in our area. Mum’s friend Becky told us about this one. It’s not far from us but we have never been before. This is the path.

The Path

Right next to it is a river. It’s pretty big! I like to go for a drink and a paddle to cool me down. We’ve been having really warm weather.

Paddle

There are swans on the river.

Me and Mum are watching the swans. Some of them are nesting.

On the other side of the path are golden fields!

Golden Field

They are very big.

I like to go hunting in them.

Coming Mum!

Coming

It’s a great place and you can walk for miles! Mum says the best thing about it is that there is no noise, except for the geese, or flocks of swans flying overhead. We even saw a roe deer one morning!

I like to stalk and chase the geese.

Stalking

That is so much fun!

We’ve found other walks too with sand hills, willow plantations and lots of lakes. It is a SSSI, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and sometimes we see people with video cameras and things there. Mum is going to bring our camera for one of those walks soon too. Until then …

Grand Boy

Bye for now.

PS: This is for Cassidy!

Wisteria

This is what our Wisteria looks like with very rigorous pruning, so keep up the good work girl!

I’d love to go for a walk with you there! That photo of you flushing out the geese is amazing. And, those golden fields go on forever! They’re a great background for your portrait!

You have the flying bat ears syndrome just like I do… when we run like the wind!

    Goober love,
    Stanley

What a spot for a walkie! Lucky you, Finni!
Mom’s wisteria got hit by frost before the blossoms opened and it killed them all 🙁 Yours is just magnificent!

    Love ya lots,

Your new walks look really good, I (Molly) especially like the stalk and chase geese area. That really appeals!

That wisteria is just gorgeous. Ours just wont flower and it’s very annoying. The pics are lovely Finni.
